Applications for 2025 (2026) O/L Results Re-Scrutiny Open Until July 8

The Ministry of Education has announced that applications for the re-scrutiny of the 2025 (2026) General Certificate of Education (G.C.E.) Ordinary Level (O/L) examination results will be accepted from June 25 until July 8.

According to the Ministry, both school and private candidates are required to submit their applications individually through the online system. Applications submitted through any other method will not be accepted.

Candidates can apply by visiting the official website of the Department of Examinations at www.doenets.lk and selecting the “Exam Information Centre” under the “Our Services” section.

The Ministry stated that candidates who already have user accounts should log in using their examination number and National Identity Card (NIC) number. Those without an existing account must first register using their NIC number and mobile phone number.

The Department of Examinations has advised applicants to carefully read the technical and general instructions and watch the instructional video before completing the online application.

The re-scrutiny fee has been set at Rs. 200 per subject, and payments can be made using a credit card, debit card, or at any post office.

After completing the payment, candidates are required to download and save the application form in PDF format for future reference. An SMS confirmation will also be sent upon successful submission.

The Department further emphasized that candidates will be permitted to submit the online application only once and that the re-scrutiny fee will not be refunded after payment.
