An Indian fuel tanker has reportedly been taken into custody by US military forces in the southern seas off Sri Lanka.
According to reports, the vessel was intercepted and seized by the US Indo-Pacific Command.
The United States has cited the vessel’s involvement in the sanctioned Iranian fuel trade as the reason for the seizure.
