The Cabinet has appointed two committees to reassess the Adani Group’s wind power project amid ongoing legal proceedings. Legal advice has also been sought regarding the functioning of these committees.
According to the Ministry of Power, the committees will review key aspects of the project, including estimated costs, legal compliance, and environmental impact reports.
The Adani Group plans to invest $1 billion in a 484 MW wind power project in Mannar and Pooneryn.
