Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) Governor Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe has been awarded the highest “A” grade in Global Finance magazine’s 2025 Central Bank Report, marking his third consecutive year receiving this prestigious recognition.
The magazine highlighted Dr. Weerasinghe’s efforts in curbing inflation, maintaining monetary stability, managing interest rates, and steering the country toward economic growth, while upholding the independence of the Central Bank.
