The All Share Price Index (ASPI) climbed by 107.88 points, closing at 18,946.27, marking a 0.57% increase from the previous session. Meanwhile, the S&P SL20 Index — which tracks the top 20 blue-chip companies — saw a more significant jump of 71.83 points, settling at 5,700.54, a 1.28% rise.
Market activity was notably robust, with 276.9 million shares traded during the session. The day also witnessed a record-breaking turnover of Rs. 9.1 billion, reflecting heightened investor interest and confidence.
