In response to the ongoing extreme heat conditions, the Ministry of Education has issued a set of guidelines to safeguard schoolchildren from potential health risks.
As advised by the Ministry of Health, the Secretary of Education has directed these guidelines to all Provincial Education Directors. The measures focus on preventing complications such as heat cramps, heat strokes, and heat exhaustion.
The guidelines include recommendations for ensuring proper hydration, wearing appropriate clothing, and limiting outdoor activities to minimize the impact of high temperatures on students’ well-being.
