Justice Minister Harshana Nanayakkara informed Parliament today that the Express Pearl case pending before a Singapore court has been temporarily stayed.
He further stated that the case before the London court remains pending, with proceedings yet to be concluded.
The Minister also emphasized that the trial scheduled before Sri Lankan courts will commence on January 26, 2026, marking a significant step in the country’s legal action related to the maritime disaster.
