The National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) has extended the Level-3 (Red) landslide warning for multiple areas in Kandy, Kegalle, Kurunegala, and Matale districts. Residents in affected areas are advised to evacuate immediately.
Effective until: 4:00 p.m. on 08 December 2025

Kegalle: Bulathkohupitiya, Mawanella, Aranayaka, Galigamuwa, Warakapola, Kegalle, Yatiyanthota, Rambukkana & surrounding areas
Kurunegala: Rideegama, Alawwa, Mawathagama, Mallawapitiya, Polgahawela & surrounding areas
