The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism has issued an advisory urging all Sri Lankan nationals currently in Iran and Israel to exercise heightened vigilance due to the escalating regional situation.
In a statement, the Ministry emphasized that it is closely monitoring developments and stands ready to assist Sri Lankan citizens abroad. The public is encouraged to stay in contact with relevant embassies and to reach out in case of emergencies.

The Ministry also encourages Sri Lankans in affected regions to register with their nearest Sri Lankan embassy if they have not already done so, to ensure they can be reached in case of urgent developments.
