Former Member of Parliament Nimal Lanza was arrested today (29) after surrendering to the Kochchikade Police.
He is scheduled to be produced before the Negombo Magistrate’s Court later today, according to Ada Derana.
The Attorney General has filed charges against the former State Minister in connection with an assault and trespassing incident that took place during a protest in 2006.
