Total registrations under the national fuel pass QR system have risen to 5,603,104 by 6.00 p.m. on Thursday (19), the Ministry of Digital Economy said.
According to the ministry, 503,236 new registrations were recorded by 6.13 p.m. on the same day.
A breakdown of recent registrations shows 42,899 on March 15, 337,068 on March 16, 395,349 on March 17 and 301,463 on March 18.
Deputy Minister of Digital Economy Eranga Weeraratne told Parliament that the system is now functioning smoothly despite initial technical issues.
