Football fans in Sri Lanka will have the opportunity to watch the FIFA World Cup final on a giant outdoor screen at Galle Face Green in Colombo this Sunday.
The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has organised the free public live screening, giving supporters a chance to enjoy the match in a stadium-like atmosphere by the sea.
The event will begin at 6.00 p.m., with organisers encouraging fans to bring the national flags of their favourite teams and cheer them on throughout the final.
According to the organisers, the venue has been specially prepared to provide an exciting match-day experience for football enthusiasts.
The event is open to the public free of charge, with no admission fee.
Organisers expect football fans from across the country to gather at Galle Face Green to watch the tournament’s biggest match together.
