The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) will convene a special Central Committee meeting tomorrow (07) to discuss possible measures in response to the government’s failure to address ongoing issues in the health sector.
Dr. Chamil Wijesinghe, GMOA Media Spokesperson, stated that the assurances given by the Minister of Health and the Ministry of Health to resolve these matters have not been implemented.
The association is considering trade union action, with a final decision expected at tomorrow’s special meeting, Dr. Wijesinghe added.
