Gold prices in Sri Lanka have recorded a significant decline, with rates falling by Rs. 10,000 compared to yesterday (14).
As of this morning (15), the price of a 22-carat gold sovereign at the Colombo Pettah gold market has dropped to Rs. 305,200, down from Rs. 315,500 the previous day.
Meanwhile, the 24-carat gold sovereign, which was priced at Rs. 340,000 yesterday, has decreased to Rs. 330,000 today, according to traders at the Pettah gold market.
