The grace period granted to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for settling loans under the Parate Law will expire tomorrow.
According to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, this grace period applies to businesses with loans exceeding Rs. 50 million that initiated negotiations with banks before March 31, 2025.
Meanwhile, SMEs holding loans between Rs. 25 million and Rs. 50 million will continue to benefit from relief under the Parate Law until September 30, 2025.
