A shooting incident was reported in Kapugama, Matara, early this morning (August 3), resulting in one person being injured, police confirmed.
According to initial reports, two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle opened fire at the victim while he was at his residence. The injured party, a 48-year-old male, was promptly admitted to hospital and is currently receiving treatment.
