HBO Max to Launch in Sri Lanka and Other Asia Pacific Markets on October 15

Warner Bros. Discovery has announced that its global streaming service, HBO Max, will soon be available in new Asia Pacific markets, including Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Macau, Mongolia, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

From October 15, viewers in these countries will be able to access the platform’s extensive library, featuring content from HBO, Harry Potter, the DC Universe, Cartoon Network, Max Originals, and leading Hollywood films, along with popular channels such as Discovery, TLC, AFN, and Food Network.

Subscribers will gain access to blockbuster Hollywood titles like Superman, Sinners and Final Destination: Bloodlines, along with hit HBO and Max Originals including House of the Dragon, The Last of Us, The Penguin and The Pitt. The lineup also includes new series such as The Paper and MobLand, plus family favorites ranging from Adventure Time and We Bare Bears to Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes and The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball.

Warner Bros. Discovery says the expansion will give millions of new viewers in the region uninterrupted access to one of the world’s most popular streaming platforms.
