Public services at the Department for Registration of Persons have been temporarily suspended today (24) due to a system failure.
In a statement, the Department said that services will not be available at both its head office and all regional offices.
Accordingly, all public services, including the one-day identity card issuing service scheduled for today, will not be operational.
The Department added that steps are being taken to resolve the system issue promptly and resume normal services.
