The Department of Immigration and Emigration has announced that its 24-hour passport issuance service will now be available only for the one-day service, according to the Acting Controller of Immigration and Emigration.
Applicants can register for this service between 6:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon, Monday to Friday.
The department initially launched its 24-hour service on February 18, 2025, as part of a government initiative to reduce delays in passport issuance.
