Indian Film Festival to Showcase Cinematic Gems Across Sri Lanka

The Indian Film Festival is set to captivate audiences across Sri Lanka from January 6 to 10, 2025, offering a curated selection of Indian films, the Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka announced.

The festival will kick off on Monday, January 6, at 6:30 PM with the screening of the Bollywood blockbuster ‘83’ at PVR Cinema, Colombo.

In addition to Colombo, screenings will take place in Badulla, Jaffna, Galle, Kurunegala, Matale, Matara, and Nuwara Eliya.

Organized by the High Commission of India in Colombo and its regional posts in Kandy, Hambantota, and Jaffna, in collaboration with the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Colombo, the festival highlights the diversity of Indian cinema. Audiences can enjoy a rich collection of films, spanning drama, romance, action, and historical epics, celebrating the legacy and vibrancy of Indian storytelling.
