President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has appointed Supreme Court Judge S. Thurairajah as a member of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).
He fills the vacancy created by the retirement of former Chief Justice Murdu Fernando.
Justice Thurairajah, who was sworn in as an attorney-at-law in 1988, has been serving on the Supreme Court since 2019.
