LAUGFS Gas PLC has increased domestic LP gas prices with effect from midnight yesterday.
Accordingly, the price of a 12.5kg LP gas cylinder has been increased by Rs. 545, rising from Rs. 5,700 to Rs. 6,245.
The price of a 5kg cylinder has also increased by Rs. 220, from Rs. 2,280 to Rs. 2,500.
Meanwhile, Litro Gas Lanka Limited announced that its domestic LP gas prices for May will remain unchanged.
Litro officials stated that the decision was taken to provide relief to consumers despite rising international gas prices and challenging exchange rate conditions.
Accordingly, the price of a Litro 12.5kg domestic gas cylinder remains at Rs. 4,765, while the 5kg cylinder continues at Rs. 1,910 and the 2.3kg cylinder at Rs. 890.
