The Ministry of Defence has issued a set of guidelines related to the circular on implementing the programme to empower communities affected by disasters.
According to a statement, these guidelines have been approved by the Ministry of Finance and Planning, as well as the Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils, and Local Government.
The Secretary to the Ministry of Defence has circulated the guidelines to District and Divisional Secretaries, detailing the procedures for distributing disaster relief funds to affected communities.
The guidelines outline the responsibilities of all parties involved in providing assistance and include information on the allowances and relief to be granted.
