National People’s Power MP Thilina Samarakoon has rejected allegations of divisions within the government.
He stated that all members of the National People’s Power are united in their efforts to develop the country.
Samarakoon accused the opposition of attempting to portray a split within the party by claiming there is a separate group led by the Prime Minister.
“They are trying to suggest that divisions exist within the government involving a faction led by the Prime Minister, but this is not true,” he said.
