The National Tax Week is scheduled to commence tomorrow, with the inaugural ceremony to be held at the President’s Office under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
According to Nishantha Jayaweera, Senior Additional Secretary to the President at the Revenue Administration Reform and Modernization Bureau, the initiative aims to boost government tax revenue by promoting greater public engagement and awareness.
The National Tax Week will run from June 2 to June 8.
