The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced that water supply will be suspended for nine hours, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. tomorrow (18), in several areas of Colombo and its suburbs.
The temporary disruption is required to carry out essential maintenance work at the Ambatale Water Treatment Plant, the NWSDB said.
Residents are urged to make prior arrangements and store sufficient water to minimize inconvenience during the period of suspension.
The affected areas include:
