A total of 12,142 individuals from 3,036 families have been affected by the adverse weather conditions currently prevailing across the country, according to the Disaster Management Center (DMC).
The DMC reported that residents in 14 districts have been impacted by heavy rainfall and strong winds, which have caused widespread disruptions.
Four deaths have been reported as a result of weather-related incidents, while approximately 480 houses have sustained damage due to continuous rainfall over recent days.
The DMC has urged the public to remain vigilant and to contact the 117 emergency hotline in the event of any disaster or weather-related emergency.
