Over 80,000 Tourists Arrive in Sri Lanka So Far in February – SLTDA

A total of 80,776 tourists have arrived in Sri Lanka so far in February, according to the latest data released by the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA).

The figures show that 12,439 visitors arrived from India, accounting for 15.0% of total arrivals. This was followed by 9,283 tourists from the United Kingdom, 6,946 from Russia, 5,401 from Germany, and 5,037 from China.

In February 2025, Sri Lanka recorded 240,217 tourist arrivals.

Meanwhile, cumulative tourist arrivals for 2026 have now risen to 358,103 with the release of the latest February figures. Of this total, 65,500 visitors are from India, 38,823 from the United Kingdom, and 34,080 from Russia, the SLTDA said.
