Several areas in Colombo and Kalutara experienced power outages earlier today (June 6) following a tripping incident on the Biyagama–Pannipitiya main transmission line, the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) confirmed.
The CEB stated that electricity supply has already been restored in most of the affected areas, while restoration efforts are ongoing in the remaining locations.
