President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is scheduled to deliver a keynote address this afternoon at the AI Impact 2026 conference being held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
The conference is aimed at promoting the responsible use of artificial intelligence for the benefit of humanity and has drawn participation from several heads of state as well as leaders from the global technology sector.
During his official visit to India, President Dissanayake also attended a special dinner hosted last night by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for visiting heads of state.
He is further scheduled to hold bilateral discussions with Prime Minister Modi as part of the visit, with talks expected to focus on strengthening cooperation between Sri Lanka and India across key areas.
