President Ranil Wickremesinghe has recently left Sri Lanka to attend the 7th Indian Ocean Conference in Perth, Australia, scheduled to take place from February 9 to 10. During the conference, President Wickremesinghe is slated to deliver the keynote address, providing insights into crucial regional issues.
The President’s participation comes in response to invitations extended by the India Foundation and the Government of Australia. Beyond his role as a keynote speaker, President Wickremesinghe will actively engage in exploring potential investment opportunities for Sri Lanka, showcasing the nation’s commitment to fostering economic partnerships and collaborations on the international stage, as stated by the President’s Media Division.
