The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) is set to reveal its decision on the much-anticipated electricity tariff revision later today.
PUCSL Chairman, Professor Chandralal, stated that public consultations were conducted across all nine provinces, gathering feedback from over 500 participants over the past few weeks.
The Commission has carefully reviewed public input alongside data provided by the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) to ensure a well-informed decision.
The announcement will mark the culmination of this extensive review process and is expected to address concerns about affordability and the sustainability of Sri Lanka’s electricity services.
