Former UNP Deputy Leader, MP Ravi Karunanayake, criticized the handling of the Easter Attack investigations, calling them politically motivated.
Speaking to the media, he said that statements made about the attacks were largely election rhetoric and that the issue was heavily politicized during the election period.
MP Karunanayake also pointed out that, despite assurances to the Catholic community, no clear answers have been provided even after the elections. He emphasized, however, that a proper and timely response must be obtained soon.
