Former UNP Deputy Leader Ravi Karunanayake has dismissed allegations regarding his parliamentary representation, stating that he remains the most senior member of the UNP after party leader Ranil Wickremesinghe.
In an interview with ceylonwire.lk, Karunanayake emphasized his 26-year tenure in Parliament and affirmed that he has never defected to another party.
He clarified that Wickremesinghe never accused him of entering Parliament under the New Democratic Front, alleging that two individuals attempting to disrupt the party are behind the false claims.
