Former Deputy Leader of the United National Party and Parliamentarian Ravi Karunanayake stated that boosting productivity is essential to revitalizing the national economy.
Speaking to the media, he stressed that increasing exports alone would have little impact unless the country’s overall productivity improves.
He further noted that Sri Lanka must position itself as a rapidly developing nation, emphasizing the importance of achieving an economic growth rate between 7% and 8% to ensure sustainable and accelerated progress.
