Former UNP Deputy Leader, MP Ravi Karunanayake, stated that when it comes to the current government, the public places their trust solely in President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
Speaking to the media, he noted that the coming year will be a decisive period for the government.
MP Karunanayake emphasized that governance is a collective process, not the responsibility of one individual. He pointed out that the current ruling party, while in opposition, had strongly criticized previous governments and made numerous promises to deliver quick solutions once in power.
He added that the people are now waiting for those promises to be fulfilled.
