Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko is scheduled to visit Sri Lanka on March 31, 2026, to take part in the 11th round of Bilateral Political Consultations between the two countries.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the visit aims to further strengthen long-standing diplomatic ties and expand cooperation between Sri Lanka and the Russian Federation.
During the consultations, both sides are expected to discuss a broad range of areas, including political relations, economic cooperation, trade, tourism, energy, as well as regional and international developments of mutual interest.
