Financial services expert Sanjaya Kalidasa has been appointed to the Board of LOLC Holdings PLC as a Non-Executive Director.
Kalidasa is an expert in Treasury, ALM and Fund Management with over 20 years of professional experience in both financial and non-financial sectors through his career in multinational groups. He started off his career at one of the development banks and worked at the Central Bank of Sri Lanka/Government Treasury prior to joining the management at Group Treasury to the then largest listed multinational conglomerate in Sri Lanka.
He is proficient in international investments, mergers and acquisitions, investment portfolio management and other strategic diversification in over 25 international markets.
Kalidasa also serves as a director on several LOLC Group Boards including LOLC Financial Sector Holdings Ltd., Singapore, LOLC Asia Ltd., Singapore and Gal Oya Holdings Ltd.
He holds a Masters in Financial Economics, a BSc (Hons) in Business, Finance and Computational Mathematics and is a passed finalist of CGMA.
Recently, Ishara Nanayakkara was appointed as the Executive Chairman of LOLC Holdings PLC. He previously functioned as Deputy Chairman and has been serving the LOLC Board since 2002.
