Several spells of showers are expected today (03) in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, and North-Western provinces, as well as in the districts of Galle, Matara, Kandy, and Nuwara Eliya, according to the Department of Meteorology.
The Department also said that a few showers may occur in the Anuradhapura District.
Meanwhile, strong winds of 40–50 kmph are expected at times over the western slopes of the Central Hills, the Northern, North-Central, and North-Western provinces, and in the Hambantota and Trincomalee districts.
The Department of Meteorology has advised the public to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions against adverse weather conditions, particularly in areas expected to experience strong winds and showers.
