The Department of Meteorology says several spells of showers are expected today in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, and North-Western provinces, as well as in the Galle and Matara districts.
Residents in these areas are advised to be prepared for intermittent rainfall and take necessary precautions, especially during outdoor activities.
