Showery Conditions to Reduce Across Sri Lanka from Today

The Department of Meteorology forecasts a reduction in showery conditions across the island starting today (February 2).

A few showers may occur in Batticaloa, Ampara, and Mullaittivu districts.
Evening or night thundershowers are possible in Ratnapura and Galle districts.
Mainly fair weather will prevail in other parts of the country.
Misty conditions are expected in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North-Western, Uva, and Southern provinces during the morning.

The public is advised to take precautions against temporary strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
