December 19, 2025

South Asia’s first-ever three-day reggae music festival, ‘One Love 2026 – A Tribute to Bob Marley’, will take place from March 27 to 29, 2026, at Bentota Beach, organisers announced.

The festival will kick off daily from 5.00 p.m., marking an unprecedented celebration of reggae culture in the South Asian region. It is expected to be the largest gathering of international reggae artists ever held in Asia and the Pacific.

The star-studded line-up features six globally recognised reggae icons, including Maxi Priest, widely known as the Prince of Reggae; The Wailers; Bob Marley’s sons Julian Marley and Ky-Mani Marley; along with Inner Circle and Big Mountain.

In addition, four internationally renowned DJs will provide live entertainment throughout the festival.

Two headline acts will perform each night. The Wailers and Maxi Priest will headline on March 27, followed by Inner Circle and Big Mountain on March 28, while Julian Marley and Ky-Mani Marley will close the festival on March 29.

The Sri Lankan reggae festival is expected to attract thousands of local fans and international visitors, including tourists from India, the Maldives and Bangladesh, drawn by Sri Lanka’s tropical beach setting and the global appeal of reggae music.

The event is being organised by One In A Million Entertainment Ltd, a Sri Lankan-based company headquartered in Europe and Colombo, in partnership with Caribbean Entertainment.

The festival coincides with celebrations marking Bob Marley’s 81st birthday, which falls on February 6, 2026, paying tribute to the legendary reggae icon’s enduring legacy.

Ticket prices are set at Rs. 10,000 per day for regular entry and Rs. 50,000 per day for VIP access. Festival passes for all three days are available at discounted rates of Rs. 25,000 for general admission and Rs. 125,000 for VIP passes.

Tickets can be purchased via the PickMe Events platform.

Organisers also announced that a portion of the ticket sale proceeds will be donated to a water purification project at children’s orphanages operated by the Indian Cultural Association of Sri Lanka.
