A new Parliament website designed to enhance public accessibility and modernize digital services has been launched by Speaker Jagath Wickramaratne.
According to a statement issued by the Parliament Media Unit, the updated platform has been developed to meet contemporary requirements and offers a range of new features. Among them is the ‘My Parliament’ portal, which allows citizens to directly connect with Parliament and its Members of Parliament (MPs).
“By registering on the website, the public can easily access the services provided by Parliament. In addition, public servants working with Parliament can also facilitate their official duties through this registration process,” the statement said.
The official website of the Parliament of Sri Lanka, which has been in operation for 19 years, has now been fully revamped with several enhancements aimed at improving user experience and strengthening public engagement.
