The Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) announced that special buses are in operation for people traveling to Anuradhapura, Thanthirimale, and Mihintale for Poson Poya.
SLTB Chairman Lalith de Alwis stated that additional bus services are also being operated to and from Situlpawwa. A total of 400 extra buses are expected to be added to the service.
Meanwhile, special trains are also in operation for Poson Poya.
