Sri Lanka Investment Summit 2026 Postponed Amid Global Uncertainty

March 24, 2026

The Board of Investment of Sri Lanka (BOI), together with the European Union (EU), the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), has announced the postponement of the Sri Lanka Investment Summit 2026, which was scheduled for March 30.

The BOI said the decision was taken in light of the current global situation and its impact on international air travel and supply chains.

Authorities noted that rescheduling the summit will allow it to be held under more favorable global conditions, enabling more effective and focused engagement between local stakeholders and international investors.

The BOI emphasized that its priority is to create a platform that supports meaningful dialogue and investment opportunities.

The organization is closely monitoring global developments and will announce a new date in due course.

All registrations already made will remain valid for the rescheduled event.
