Sri Lanka Railways has announced the operation of special train services in January and February this year, in celebration of the Thai Pongal festival, Independence Day, and subsequent long weekends.
The special train services will run from Colombo Fort to Badulla and from Colombo Fort to Kankesanthurai.

Colombo-Fort to Badulla:
