According to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka’s (CBSL) daily exchange rate chart, the buying price of the US dollar stood at Rs. 293.18 today (10th), while the selling price was recorded at Rs. 301.74.
The average exchange rate for the day was Rs. 297.65, continuing a downward trend since February 5, when the dollar peaked at Rs. 299.14. Since then, the US dollar has been gradually weakening against the Sri Lankan rupee.
Meanwhile, the Australian dollar was traded at Rs. 181.70 (buying) and Rs. 190.95 (selling).
