Sri Lankan cricketers have reportedly agreed to remain in Pakistan and continue their ongoing tour despite recent security concerns.
As confirmed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the second and third ODIs between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will now take place in Rawalpindi on November 14 and 16.
“We are grateful to the Sri Lankan team for their decision to continue the tour of Pakistan. The spirit of sportsmanship and cooperation shines brightly,” the PCB chairman said in a statement.
The decision has been widely praised as a gesture of goodwill and resilience, reaffirming the strong cricketing ties between the two nations.
