Former United National Party (UNP) Deputy Leader and MP Ravi Karunanayake has said that the influence of certain individuals who have obstructed the party’s future activities has not yet completely disappeared.
Speaking in an interview with Ceylon Wire, Karunanayake described these individuals as “ghosts” within the party and said they are now becoming spent forces.
He said their ability to influence the affairs of the UNP is gradually diminishing.
Karunanayake added that the time has come for these “ghosts” within Sirikotha to disappear completely.
