The Department of Meteorology has forecasted possible showers in a few locations within the Eastern Province and Mullaittivu district.
Showers or thundershowers are likely to occur in several areas of the Sabaragamuwa Province and in the Galle, Matara, Kandy, and Nuwara-Eliya districts during the afternoon or night.
Additionally, misty conditions are anticipated in some parts of the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern, and Uva provinces during the morning hours.
The general public is urged to take necessary precautions to minimize potential damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
